The Valtur Baia del Gusmay Beach Resort 4* is spread over an area of more than 200 hectares inside the Gargano National Park with direct and exclusive access to the Baia del Gusmay: a strip of soft sand enveloped by the Mediterranean maquis and caressed by crystal-clear sloping waters.

The Valtur Baia del Gusmay Beach Resort comprises four bodies with a total of 182 rooms. 
The Gusmay Building, Cala del Turco, Suite le Dune and Beach Suite le Dune.

The project of the resort

The original design of the Resort dates back to the architect Marcello D'Olivo who, in the 1960s, designed one of the most visionary tourist centres in Italy, designed to accommodate almost 20,000 people. 

In Manacore between Peschici and Vieste, the architect designed what is now the Valtur Baia del Gusmay, an architectural work that blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape and respects the geography of the ridges and valleys. 
It is one of the first tourist villages in Italy designed to coexist in harmony with nature and to connect with all the beauty of the area. 
Today, it is one of the identity and most iconic parts of the Valtur Baia del Gusmay Beach Resort.

Sustainability

A Resort in the Gargano born in harmony with nature and designed to respect it, from 0 km cuisine to the use of renewable energy.

The restaurants use products grown in the resort's botanical garden, which is also open to guests for experiences dedicated to rediscovering this wonderful destination. 

Our sustainable approach is also reflected in our daily focus on reducing the use of plastic and using clean energy from solar panels.

Sustainability is not only respect for the nature that hosts us, but it is also protection of the local traditions that make the spur of Italy so magical: during your stay, the Valtur Equipe organises engaging theme evenings to discover all the goodness and essence of the Gargano.
